Our Client, a leading international supplier of Turbomachinery, requires an Instructor to be based in Switzerland.

Working in close liaison with the Engineering Manager & Field Service Manager, will have overall responsibility for the technical training of Company personnel & customers.  Structure, coordinate, develop & provide training programs.  Handle & coordinate all training issues within the company & manage the Training Centre. Providing theoretical & practical training for personnel & customer training for maintenance & operational personnel on steam turbines, centrifugal compressors as well as associated equipment.

Candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering degree with at least 3 years Field Service Experience OR, 10 years working experience in the petrochemical or similar industry.

Must be capable of handling the administrative aspects of the job.

Ideally have previous technical training experience or a strong aptitude in this area.

Supervisory skills needed to successfully lead engineers/representatives assigned to complement specific technical training & commercial flair & good communications skills, as position involves extensive contacts within the company & a multi-cultural customer base.

Must have fluent English & other languages an advantage.

Flexible, able to cope with ever changing requirements. Local & Intercontinental travel may be required from time to time to carry out training programmes at the customer's plant (from a few days to several weeks)

Must be willing to travel to remote locations such as desert camps & into developing nations.
