| One of the world's largest providers of engineering solutions to the oil and gas industry is looking for a Subsea Proposals Engineer to join their Subsea Controls division. Experienced in proposals with an engineering background you will assist the purchase of Subsea Production Control Systems by clients that are planning to develop fields. These systems are located subsea and tied back to existing or new Platform, Floating or Shore facility. Designs are recommended, quotes provided and, if tenders are successful, the awarded contract contributes to the overall company revenue plan/profitability. Responsibilities: - Provide written quotations for subsea control systems - Design suitable cost effective system proposals - Generate detailed materials lists - Follow-up quotations - Attend bid clarification meetings The ideal candidate will have: - Engineering background/degree/equivalent experience (essential) - Experience in subsea or offshore controls systems (essential) - Experience in proposals/bids/sales (essential) - Excellent communications skills - Tenacity and determination - Self motivation - Negotiation skills This position is offering £38k - £42k depending on experience with excellent career potential.
