| Electrical Technical Director - Building Services Surrey 11084 Our client provides building services excellence for the Education, Residential, Hotels and leisure, Health, Retail, Commercial and Industrial Sectors leading the way in their field. Their consulting services focus strongly on sustainable, energy efficient, practical solutions for all stages of the lifecycle, reducing costs and carbon footprints. Their team of highly qualified engineers, designers and project managers design and deliver the highest standards of service with the most innovative methods. Currently they are looking for an Electrical Technical Director to join the practice in Surrey and take on the Electrical lead role within the Building Services Division. You will manage a dedicated team of staff. The role will focus on senior client management, management of projects within the division and support of the team technically and in the role of line manager. Duties of the role * Project delivery, planning and management to ensure technical deliverables and project profitability * Undertake design and technical input and support to projects as necessary to meet deadlines * Display clear and significant technical contributions to the project activities of the division. * Monitoring deliverables and initiating corrective actions when required, with regard to technical and financial elements * Lead and direct the team with budget requirements to meet the financial performance of the company's business plan. * Delivery and budget compliance of all work carried out * Under company objectives, manage key clients to ensure profitable and sustainable growth of the business, ensuring customer satisfaction whilst achieving new sales and repeat business * Assist in setting of achievable targets with the Board * Communicating effectively with all levels from staff to Board, with regular reporting of team and project performance * Marketing of the company's achievements and project success * Adhere to and assist in monitoring projects and systems quality standards set by the Company * Work to management guidelines such as IIP, with regard for independent review standards. * Maintain and develop the company brand, particularly the sustainable ethos of the company Person * Motivate the team to guarantee high levels of productivity * As a lead position, act as line manager and mentor to ensure team members achieve developmental targets * Lead input into recruitment of permanent, contract staff and sub consultants * Provide encouragement, advice and support to team members * Feedback company performance and communicate general company activity to staff An attractive salary of £55,000 and 4% benefit allowance is on offer | ||
