| This position is contract or permanent Our respected client is looking for the following skills and experience; - My client, an international Oil & Gas contractor, has an immediate requirement for a Proposals Engineer to work from their Aberdeen facility. Duties will include but not be limited to: - Preparation of tenders in accordance with Business Management System (BMS) - Assist in the pursuit of future business in accordance with BMS - Organise workload of allocated tender team within agreed budget - Prepare accurate and economic costing of tenders and assessment of risk including competition/market trends - Negotiate terms and conditions of tenders with customers and suppliers to achieve the best commercial position with minimum exposure to risk - Assist in the improvement of working practices of the department - Receive functional guidance, direction and advice from Proposals/BA Manager - Provide business planning and reporting assistance to Proposals/BA Manager - Individual participation in the performance appraisal process - Other duties as directed by Proposals Manager from time to time Please do not be confused by any other advertisors.
