| Sales Engineer required for well established company in the Water Treatment industry. Based in Wokingham when not travelling, basic salary £25K (depending on experience) + bonus/commission + benefits A well established company in the water treatment industry is currently recruiting for a Sales Engineer. The company specialise in three key areas: Contracting, Equipment and Service & Maintenance. This positions will be part of the expanding Service & Maintenance unit. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Service & Maintenance Manager. The successful candidate will be tasked with obtaining/selling maintenance contracts for water treatment equipment, water hygiene, HVCA and Measured Term Contracts with focus on new account development and management of existing accounts. Applicants must have previous experience in sales within the water treatment industry backed up by a proven track record. We are looking for an individual who possesses good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively on all levels within an organization. Can participate effectively into teamwork and use own initiative when required. Must be a flexible individual who enjoys the challenges of meeting deadlines and targets. Individual must be reliable, honest and have excellent attention to detail. Ideally you will be degree educated in a relevant area. Computer Skills: Must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word, Internet and e-mail. Personal Situation: Able to extend hours on occasions when required. Must hold a full UK driving license. Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel within the UK. The Sales Engineer will be based near Wokingham, Berkshire when not travelling to meet clients and build business. The basic Salary offered will be ca £25K (depending on experience) + Bonus/commission (OTE ca £33K) + company car, fuel card, laptop, mobile phone, 22days holiday.
