| This fabless semiconductor company based in Edinburgh, specialise in mixed signal IC designs / System-on-Chip developments, for the mobile comms and consumer electronic markets. They have been experiencing an exciting period of growth, the result of which is that they are now looking for a Senior / Principal IC layout Engineer As an experienced IC layout engineer, you would be involved in the layout of complex high performance ICs, as well as verification, Process Design Kit management and have a great deal of hands on responsibility for layout, floor planning & routing The experienced IC layout engineer will need to have an extensive depth of experience in the layout of CMOS ICs, as well as having some experience of mixed signal IC layout, block place & route, PDK management, Cadence Virtuoso layout suite, Mentor Calibre extract & verification or Synopsys Hercules The IC layout engineer will be working within a small team, which will require a certain amount of flexibility from time to time, and may be required to help out in other areas of the business.
