| One of the UK's leading construction companies are currently looking for a Senior Machinery Engineer Duties: Use technical writing skills and experience to support the delivery of project related documents i.e. specifications, data sheets, bid tabulations, material requisitions. Selection, specification, evaluation and testing of various rotating equipment i.e. centrifugal and reciprocating pumps and compressors, gas turbines, steam turbines in accordance with international standards. General skills/experience: To support oil, gas and process industry FEED and EPC projects on Underground Gas Storage, Floating LNG Production, Gas Processing Plants and Nuclear. Person Specification Degree qualified. Chartered Engineer or equivalent experience Experience of Selection, specification, evaluation and testing of various rotating equipment Understanding of Engineering Contractor working environment and ability to interface with clients, suppliers and other discipline engineers Ability to carry out Lead Engineer role Specific experience in the following technical areas would be beneficial: API 610 pumps and API 682 seals Cryogenic equipment - turboexpanders, pumps and compressors Nuclear waste processing To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK If this position is of interest please contact Felicity Bell on 01202 596367 or email fbell@kdcresource.com KDC is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. | ||
