| Senior Mixed-Signal IC Designer is required to work in the Central Belt of Scotland (Midlothian) for a semiconductor chipset company who design a broad range of power control IC's. The Senior Mixed-Signal IC Designer will work on designing SoC (System On Chip) or embedded controllers / processors/cores for power conversion and power interface devices including motor drive products aimed for the automotive environment. Front-end aspects of digital design including algorithm development, architectural decisions and block level RTL code development. You should be a strong user of Cadence tools (particularly Encounter) and be experienced with silicon bench evaluation. The Senior Mixed-Signal IC Designer should have digital IC experience with embedded controllers and cores but also have some level of transistor analogue design (e.g. ADC, charge pump, op-amp, linear regulators etc).
