| Automotive OEM seeks two Gasoline Calibration Engineers for lengthy contract positions. Position Description: Plan and lead vehicle gasoline powertrain calibration development program. Liaison with powertrain project management teams, powertrain control systems teams and feature technical specialists. Develop detailed project plans that embrace all elements of the powertrain programme. Manage the project to ensure all milestones and objectives are achieved as defined by the engineering development process. Ability to guide software and control system areas in the development of effective engineering solutions. Interface with the programme team to report progress. Manage the definition, communication, and resolution of issues with internal stakeholders. Co-ordinate the sign of and release of a production calibration. Skills Required: Proven track record of management and delivery of a gasoline calibration development program. Broad understanding of EMS features and how they interact with other vehicle systems and ESP. Detailed knowledge of gasoline control systems ideally Bosch & Siemens. Knowledge of project management tools and techniques. Ability to motivate, influence, and manage people effectively. Works well under pressure and capable of working with minimal supervision. Well developed interpersonal, organisational, facilitation, and communication skills. Ability to interact with a varying set of customers both internal and external. Ability to support climate development trips within Europe, North America, China and South East Asia. Experience Preferred: Experience in a gasoline direct injection program would be an advantage.
