| One of the UK's leading construction companies are currently looking for a Principal Instrument Engineer. General Skills/Experience: IET accredited degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a bias towards Control & Instrumentation. CEng Preferred. Experience in oil & gas engineering sector preferred, although experience in other industries will be considered. Areas of expertise: Field Instrumentation - the specification of process measurement devices used for flow, pressure, temperature and level and their associated installation. Control and safety valve sizing and specification. Metering system design to fiscal and custody standards involving analysis and flow computation. Control system design based on DCS and Scada technology. Safety system engineering and design with full compliance to IEC61511. Instrument and control system integration and loop design. To act as Lead Engineer in the execution of projects and provide technical specialist expertise.
