| An Electronic / Semiconductor Systems Engineer is required to work in the Central Belt / Edinburgh area, for a semiconductor chipset company who design a broad range of power control IC's. The Electronic Systems Engineer will work on understanding customer issues and influencing technical/engineering decisions, including future product development decisions, as well as, defining and specifying new products and product concepts. The electronics system engineer will demonstrate this through active promotion and presentation of technology and products to customers and educating customers on products and features to secure design wins. As an experienced Electronic Systems Engineer, you will need to be able to demonstrate a strong background and understanding of BLDC motor control using power ICs & microcontrollers / Advanced BLDC motor control techniques, as well as being experienced with PID control techniques, Embedded processor real-time programming and Automotive systems. Real-time operating system and software architecture and/or real-time embedded processor firmware & software development would also be of interest. The Systems Engineer will need to be able to demonstrate knowledge of Brush DC, Stepper and ACI motors and power conversion techniques. The ideal Systems Engineer should have an honours degree or equivalent in electronic engineering or semiconductors and have a depth of experience of around 5 years or more in power integrated circuit applications in automotive and industrial systems.
