| Our client is a leading national main contractor, operating across multiple building and refurbishment sectors. With a first rate reputation within the construction industry and particular emphasis on employee satisfaction, our client has managed to be a regular member of the 100 top companies to work for, year on year. A position is available for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work within the retail construction division. Projects will typically be the new build, refurbishment and extending of food superstores such as Tesco, ASDA and Morrisons, from £2m - £12m in value. Projects could be anywhere across the M4/M5 corridor, and occasional travel to sites will be a pre-requisite of the job from a Bristol office base. The company places particular emphasis on career progression, and rewarding employees. The successful candidate must have; * Recent experience working for a main contractor as Quantity Surveyor working on FOOD RETAIL construction projects, of at least £4m in value (i.e Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's or Morrison's stores) * Reside within a commutable distance from Bristol and be willing to travel to projects if/when required.
