| Position Senior Estimator Location Essex Salary £65,000 + package Company Fawkes & Reece Contact paul johnson Job Type Permanent Job Description SENIOR ESTIMATOR A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of the best known names in the construction industry. Our client is the best known name across the social housing, refurbishment and maintenance sector within the UK. They have a superb client list and a pipeline of secured work stretching well into 2010. They work within social housing, commercial,and the public sector and their projects can be anything from £1m - £25m. They are looking for a Senior Estimator to work in a team of four Estimators and to assist with pricing of both competitive tenders and framework pricing. Aside from producing tenders and 'number crunching' the Senior Estimator will have to possess good communication skills with the ability to meet and greet prospective and retained clients and ensure a healthy working relationship with key clients and suppliers. Due to the nature of the role the Senior Estimator will primarily be office based but will also have to attend site and fulfil other out of office obligations when required. The Senior Estimator will have a experience in a similar role and have experience of both social housing and maintenance projects. Most important is the desire to achieve success within the company and a hunger to win prestigious projects by producing good quality work.
