Job Description:
Used Car Sales Controller / Assistant Used Car Sales Manager - Norfolk

The primary functions of this role are to sell the groups used cars, both franchised sales, and non franchised, and to assist the Used car sales manager in the day to day running of the group used car department. Supervise where necessary the sales of used cars across the group, plus providing advice, and assistance to all other sales executives within the group, ensuring that they are supported in selling used cars, to enable the group to achieve our used car volume and profit objectives.

Reporting to ; Used Car Sales Manager ( General Sales Manager in absence )

Responsible for ;

Primary working partners ; Used car stock controller; Business Managers ; All sales executives ; Sales Admin ; Accounts.

Minimum Daily Tasks

Involvement with morning sales meetings in all branches on a rotational basis.

Dealing with all enquiries from customers considering a used car purchase, following the companies sales process

Assisting with maintaining stock within 60 day policy
o Oversee electronic marketing is up to date with key offers
o General marketing recommendations to Used Car Sales Manager

Assist stock controller in maintaining appearance of site, and ensuring that all necessary point of sale material is displayed correctly in each vehicle.

Operate in Business Manager field - Selling and arranging finance and insurance products.

Underwriting of part exchanges in Used car sales manager`s absence

Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at the highest levels and deal with any issues, unless escalated to the Used car Sales Manager.

Deal with traders in Used car sales managers absence to purchase and dispose of non - retail and overage stock.

Additional requirements
To meet and exceed targets through the sale of used vehicles, maximising every opportunity to up-sell, offering every customer information about all available Company products and facilities.

Exploiting the market opportunity through effective customer prospecting and to convert prospects into profitable sales.

To respond to all customer enquiries for vehicle sales, accessories and finance in a professional, timely manner whether in person, by telephone, email, fax or letter.
Develop a clear understanding of customers needs through listening, questioning, and summarising to build the customers confidence and ensure that the correct vehicle is presented.
