| This role resides within the Midstream LNG group. This is a new division aimed at growing business in the areas of LNG, GTL, CTL, Carbon Capture and Gasification and monitoring potential new business areas. As a Process Engineer the successful candidate will be a driving force in these business areas. The key elements of the role are to execute and provide technical and supervisory support to projects within the LNG group portfolio and will involve conceptual and feasibility studies, optimisation work, and pre-FEED stages, working closely with customers to understand their needs and produce designs and services to meet these needs and provide technical support to business winning activities as required. You will need previous experience of working on midstream studies and projects with a Chemical Engineering degree and Chartered Engineer (or working towards chartership, engineering knowledge of a number of the following areas; gas pre-treatment including acid gas removal, synthesis gas production, gasification, liquefaction, FT technologies and CO2 sequestration. Knowledge and familiarity with industry wide process simulation software. Possess the skills to manage own work, and the work of others, excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills and experience in the execution of conceptual studies, optimisation work and front end engineering design stage of projects. | ||
