| We currently require a knowledgeable Aerospace Programme Manager to work for a leading 1st tier supplier based in Basingstoke. You will have previous knowledge of working with Aero Engines and will be looking for a Programme Management opportunities. Your role will be to manage the commercial and contractual relationship for integrated sensor packages between, its customer all relevant sub-tier partners. To provide the company's primary commercial interface for both the customer & sub tier partners throughout the programme. To work with the Sales & Marketing Director to prepare business plans & obtain bid approvals for the programme. To prepare RFPs & lead commercial negotiations with prospective sub-tier partners & make recommendations for sub tier selection based on agreed criteria. With the Sales & Marketing Director participate in the negotiation of the company's formal contract with the customer (including SOW & baseline total lifecycle cost model). To negotiate formal contracts for the programme with selected sub-tier partners that match all material aspects of the contract agreed with the customer. To ensure that detailed programme plans (including resource & risk mgt plans) are in place & agreed by the customer (incorporating individual plans from the company & selected sub-tier partners) to meet the agreed programme requirements & that these are maintained throughout the programme. To ensure adherence to the programme management principles of the agreed SOW. To manage commercial aspects of post contract scope change, including negotiating revised pricing & NRC terms with the customer & selected sub-tier partners using the contractually agreed total life cycle cost model & change ledger. To prepare & present regular programme status reports at a frequency & in a form to be agreed with the customer & the company management team. To track & reporting progress of the programme against business plan targets. To develop strong personal relationships with the customer & selected sub-tier partners, fostering a broad contact surface with the company. To work with selected sub-tier partners to ensure that their technology development roadmaps align to the future needs of both the company & the customer. To routinely visit the customer & selected sub-tier partners at their facilities (overseas travel should be assumed at a frequency of least once per month). In depth knowledge of the aircraft engine marketplace. Well developed customer and supplier relationship management skills, proven in an aerospace environment. Excellent communication skills, with a confident approach to relationship development at all levels up to Director level. A good technical understanding of the design and function of aircraft and engine control systems (to satisfy this objective a relevant technical degree, or equivalent, would be highly advantageous). Ability to work independently, prioritise workload, maintain clear and accurate records and provide concise management reports.
