| My client, a world leader in satellite and communications technology require experienced software engineers to work on a secure military communications modem. This is an excellent opportunity with real scope for career progression. Role: To develop software using embedded C++ or Java to very high standards for a military communications project. Whilst this appointment will initially be as a principal engineer, my client is very keen to hear from qualified candidates with the potential to progress on to team leadership. You must be keen to get involved with the technical lab work and be an effective, personable team member. Essential: Experience of embedded C++ Background in real time software development Development of software in a Linux environment Object orientated Analysis or Design Leadership potential Beneficial: Solid knowledge of Java Background in defence communications software Knowledge of secure modems Leadership experience To apply for this position, candidates must have resided in the UK for at least 3 years or have current security clearance.
