| limited to the following market segments: Power Gen, Oil & Gas, Marine, Industrial etc. - Negotiate contracts with key customers in accordance with contract policy. - Maintain a filing system with all customer relevant information per account. - Establish and maintain a 2-3 years Business Plan in accordance with the sales strategy. - Maintain a price list for key customers where prices other than the price list are agreed. - Proactively assess, appoint, manage third party sales channels. - Generate Sales budgets as per the budgeting processes. - Achieve Sales budgets within agreed costs and profitability targets. - Contribute to co-ordinaA leading International engineering company are looking for an experienced Sales Manager, to manage OEM's and End Users Accounts, Distributors, and or agents across the UK and Ireland. This position is ideally suited to an experienced Sales Engineer, with a proven track record in developing business and experience in gas or steam turbines and machinery monitoring. In addition, an industrial or marine sales background would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities: - Manage OEM and/or End Users Accounts, Distributors and/or Agents - Proactively sell the product range to the Industrial markets in the UK including but not tion of international sales efforts / projects involving allocated third party and other Sales Offices. - Ensure quotations preparation and submittal, Contracts Reviews. - Co-ordinate training and marketing activities related to allocated Distributor, Agent and/or Key Accounts. - Ensure regular flow of market information as well as product information from and to the Product Managers. - Provide monthly sales activity report. Key Skills/Experience: Essential Qualifications and Experience - Ideally qualified to HNC level within electrical engineering - Proven track record in sales - Experience of gas or steam turbines industry. Experience of machinery monitoring business - Would also consider experience from OEM (turbines) or End Users (power or oil/gas) - Excellent negotiation skills The salary for the role is 35k-40k+ bonus, car, pension.
