| Our client, a leading Oil and Gas company is looking for a Senior Civil/Structural Designer. An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Designer with Civil bias in the Civil Structural Group. The successful candidate will assist in overseeing the workload and quality of the Civil/Structural drafting and carrying out significant amounts of drafting work in a busy office. Site survey work will also be required. He/she will liaise with other disciplines and be directly responsible to the Lead Engineer. The candidate will be a good communicator and have a high level of technical competence. He/she will have quality experience in a multidisciplinary engineering environment e.g. process, chemical, power or oil/gas. Safety Passport would be an advantage Technical competency and experience: Significant experience in the design/drafting of reinforced concrete is essential. Experience in drainage, road works and structural steelwork would be an advantage. Detailed current knowledge of Autocad is essential.
