| A leading FPSO operator has a new and urgent requirement for a Graduate Process Engineer. The Process Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the continuous improvement of the safe and efficient operation of the process facilities on the FPSO fleet in the UK sector of the North Sea. Main Responsibilities: The Graduate Process Engineer reports to the Process Engineer / Asset Manger and is responsible for: - Analysing daily reported production data, signal trends etc and producing loss control data sheets and trend information. - Analysing loss control data with a view to determining root causes of trips, failures etc by liaising with other engineers and specialists, and proposing measures to avoid recurrence. - Reporting to and advising the Process Engineer on a regular basis on production loss control issues. - Liaising with and providing guidance to the offshore Operations Team Leader, with the aim to maximise efficiency of overall production operations & individual process equipment availability thereby ensuring set targets are achieved or exceeded. - Attending the Chemical Steering Committee and Integrity Meetings, as and when required - Undertaking troubleshooting exercises on process systems as required, both onshore and offshore. - Liaising with Operations Support Group members on production related matters. - Visiting operational FPSO's at regular intervals and acting as focal point in the Aberdeen Office for the offshore Operations Team Leader on production related queries as required by the Process Engineer. - Providing assistance and advice as required to efficiently execute modifications and non-routine operations, including attendance at HAZOP's / HAZID's and safety Reviews. - Compliance with and commitment to: - Company Policies and Procedures - Philosophy Document - FP Operations - The development and review of operational procedures and manuals Qualifications Required: - BEng or equivalent in Process Engineering / Chemical Engineering - Experience in an operational process (Pharmaceutical, chemical or oil related preferred) - UKOOA Medical Certificate To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK Matchtech Group Plc is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. | ||
