In-house facilities include:

- Full cutting service

- 4m press brake

- 4m guillotine up to 10mm m/s

- 4m pyramid rollers

- MIG and stick welding

- TIG and mobile site welding

- Plasma profiling

Core Duties

·         Day to day duties include the full project management role, from taking the order

• Working as part of a busy production team in a general engineering company 
• Managing varied and interesting projects
• Not required to draught or estimate for work but CAD experience an advantage as you may be required to amend or design simple drawings from sales team to invoicing stage
• Liaise with suppliers / subcontractors / foremen / colleagues
• Take instructions from customers in appropriate manner
• Required to raise purchase orders to be forwarded to buyer and job sheets to be distributed on shop floor
• Ability to assess material type and quantity needed, along with ability to calculate time taken to undertake jobs
• Assist in the design of new products
• Look towards ways of increasing productivity and efficiency

Skills / Qualifications

·         Welding or Fabrication experience / background / knowledge essential

·         Computer literacy essential

• Graduates considered from either an engineering educational background or more hands on course such as HND - high grades not essential
• Candidates who are time served tradesmen and have office / admin experience preferred

Salary / Package

Upto £35,000 per annum upon your experience
