THE POSITION As an integral member of project-based teams, the incumbent's key responsibilities are as follows: Supervision of a team of instrument and control engineers and designers on complex multi-disciplined petrochemical projects Reporting to a project/engineering manager, deliver the control system and instrumentation scope within time and budget constraints In-depth knowledge of the application of DCS, PLC and SCADA systems to Process Plants, this will include all communications systems. A good working knowledge of Instrumentation is required, together with Package system design, installation support, testing and sub contract liaison Design liaison with vendors, subcontractors and clients to ensure all details are integrated into the design Familiarisation with national and international design codes Experience with the application of BSEN61508/61511(SIL), ATEX and PED directives would be an advantage Full appreciation of Planning, Estimating, Cost Control, QA, Certification & Validation processes REQUIREMENTS Qualifications: Relevant Engineering Degree(s) or equivalent Corporate Member of the Institute of Measurement and Control (InstMC) or the Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET) (IEE) Experience: Proven track record as a Lead Engineer Skills /Knowledge: Relevant international Standards European Legislation and Directives Commercial awareness Construction awareness Competencies: Leadership qualities Motivational skills Communication skills Problem solving abilities Organisational skills Matchtech Group Plc is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. | ||
