| An exciting opportunity has arisen for a leading global provider of pressure control, processing, flow control and compression systems as well as project management and aftermarket services for the oil, gas and process industries. The right candidate will ideally have solid sales experience either in the oil and gas service company industry or process equipment industry. This is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career working for a leading global company within the industry with opportunities for future career progression. Ideally the right candidate will also have overseas sales experience and is qualified in either mechanical or chemical engineering. The opportunity will be primarily based from their office in Sunbury, but there will also be extensive European travel. Responsibilities: -To develop contacts, generate enquiries, promote the company and its products and negotiate orders with customers within the oil and gas industries to increase sales. -Identify and focus on quality jobs that can be won with good margin. -Understand customer needs by correctly interpreting facts to reach logical conclusions. -Build relationships with key engineers to ensure they are fully aware of all technical benefits of using the company's equipment. -Liaise closely with proposals during bid preparation stage and provide necessary input. -Cooperate with other Account managers in jointly persuing sales opportunities where applicable. -Attend bid clarification meetings. Requirements: -Degree educated or equivalent in an engineering discipline. -Formal qualifications in Sales Management would be advantageous. -Solid sales experience in Europe or other regions within the oil and gas industry. -Determination to succeed. -Appetite for building an extensive range of contacts within the business. Salary:- Negotiable dependant on experience up to 45k Benefits:-Car/ Allowance, Bonus, Pension, Healthcare.
