Job Description:
1: Job Summary
The Project Designer will be responsible for the design and realisation. Dealling in commercial refurbishment and fit-out, liaising with clients, colleagues and other members of the design
and construction teams in order to deliver projects to specification, cost and programme, and at a profit to
Artillery. The Project Designer will report to a team leader.

2: Principle Duties
.
To prepare designs based on a client's brief and budget in accordance with regulations.
To prepare tender information based on those designs and co-ordinating assistance of other colleagues.
To administer the construction contract as set out in the JCT form of contracts.
To carry out the above duties with due regard to the fee available to the company, in order to complete the project at a profit.
To assist colleagues in other projects or assist in the preparation of Sales Proposals.
To work as part of a project team under the direction of a team leader or director on larger scale projects.

3: Other Duties
To attend Sales and Marketing events from time to time.
To take responsibility for the maintenance and knowledge of a section of the company library.
To work on internal projects as requested by team leaders or directors.
To seek to maintain Artillery's relationships with existing clients, and to exploit new sales opportunities.

Job Requirements
Project Designers are expected to demonstrate the following skills:
To be fully conversant in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
To be capable of using Microsoft Project, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
To have a comprehensive understanding of the construction process, building regulations and legislation,
and the roles and responsibilities of client, landlords, property agents, statutory authorities, and other
members of the design and construction teams.
