| Senior Software Developer to £38k Cumbria Ref: KJ10052 Established in 1969, with a turnover exceeding £25M, our client is the UK's leading advanced automation and real-time business intelligence company, who specialise in the nuclear, power generation and utility markets where their solutions are used from plant to boardroom. Due to continued organic growth, an experienced Software Developer with excellent programming skills and full software lifecycle experience to work on software development projects for the Nuclear Business is urgently required; Based in Cumbria, although visits to other customer sites may also be required, your main duties will include Working in a clear accountability framework to agreed standards and procedures, developing software for IT applications, design, code, document, test, de-bug, commission through full software lifecycle and perform software releases to clients and dispatch the software. The successful candidate will have proven experience of one or more of the following: Knowledge of Databases (Oracle and/or SQL Server) Knowledge of VB, C#.Net, VB.Net, ASP.Net Knowledge of PL/SQL, T-SQL Experience of Team Leading It is desirable if you have knowledge of SCADA/Control Systems, web development and SharePoint, in return my client offers a basic salary of up to £38,000 (depending on experience), expenses, company pension scheme, and car/car allowance and relocation assistance.
