| There is a vacancy for a CSTW Engineer, working in the CSTW Department. Reporting to the QC Manager you will be required to support the use and development of effective Quality Management to deliver the strategic objectives. Main Duties and Responsibilities Include: Through data collection, identify and implement improvements that will reduce the cost of rework and improve the build and acceptance process. Identify and introduce methods and equipment that will improve the build procedure and thus reduce cost. Demonstrate and support positive behaviours within the QC Team. Develop best practice guides Organise and prepare QC documentation as required by the contract Conduct equipment and graded compartment inspections Support goods inwards for inspection of bought-in equipment Co-ordinate inspections with Classification Societies Co-ordinate CSTW activities with the Combat Systems Group and Production to ensure that Equipment is installed to the required standards Role Requirements: You will also be required to conduct quality audits and FATS. Conduct setting to work alongside the commissioning team as required The Successful Candidate will: Have a broad understanding of Combat Systems, associated Test Forms, and relevant Installation Inspections. Liaise with the Safety Department to organise and maintain safe working practices and working environment Observe all health and safety legislations and procedures Matchtech Group Plc is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. | ||
