| A leading International transmission company in the Truck industry are looking for an Account Manager to manage existing clients, identifying new opportunities. The succesful candidate will have a proven track record in sales in the Truck industry (or related), ideally with a product knowledge of gearboxes/transmissions etc. Key Responsibilities: - Identify sales opportunities and develop plan to capture sales - Strive to expand the releases within the OEM within the current and future product range - Change off-line production into line production or standard release when ever possible - Work with OEM to obtain a good relationship through all disciplines and at various levels - Maintain regular contact schedule an develop working relation with key personnel - Identify OEM's needs, wants, concerns etc. and develop plan of action - Anticipate changes within the OEM related to organization, product range/mix or requirements from suppliers and act accordingly and appropriately - Negotiate product price level in order to obtain profitable volume growth - Work with OEM on promotional activities. Provide support and expertise to ensure market share growth. - Work with OEM importers to ensure reasonable option price levels - Support OEM on trade shows - Seek for innovative ways to increase the business and provide feedback on customer and market trends The succesful candidate will have a proven track record in technical sales, selling into the truck, trailer or related sector. Ideally you will have experience of products such as gear boxes, transmission or related. You will be qualified to minimum HND level in an engineering discipline. The Account Manager will be results driven, ambitious and looking to work in a fast paced/competitive environment.
