| A leading international Automotive company are looking for an Account Manager to manage customer relationships with key accounts, providing commercial support, and identifying opportunities for growth. This position is ideally suited to an Account Manager, ideally with experience in the Powertrain/Automotive sector (not essential), or technical industry. Represent the company commercially for European customers for a range of Powertrain product lines where there is a sales opportunity. Location can be flexible. A.S.A.P - Develop strong relationships with key customer organisations across the functions (Purchasing, Engineering, Project, etc) including senior management levels. - Interface with Product teams, Business Lines and Plants to ensure support and resources are allocated for business opportunities. Product lines may include Diesel EMS, Gas EMS and Fuel Handling. - Maximise Sales revenue at each customer. Prepare detailed volume and revenue forecasts by product line for the annual budget and business plans. - Prepare commercial quotations for a range of products. - Negotiate detailed long-term development and purchase agreements. - Utilise Sales procedures such as DPRG, DBPS, BAAN, AQMP etc. - Identify profit enhancement opportunities. - Resolve customer Past Due accounts receivables. The succesful candidate will possess the following skills/experience: - Degree level or equivalent. - Previous account management experience in a customer focused business/commercial environment. Skills - Second language desirable but not essential (French).
