| To support the Communications Engineers in ensuring that the DHFCS CCMS systems and networks perform to Service requirements Key Result Area To carry out operational and maintenance work on the DHFCS CCMS systems and networks. To maintain technical and administrative records and provide information as required. To support the engineering team in all operational and technical matters. To undertake other duties as required by the Senior Comms Engineers. Demonstrate flexibility by multi-skilling in other departments as necessary An adequate knowledge of and compliance with the Health and Safety policy and regulations consistent with their responsibilities Promoting safe conduct at work Ensuring safe working practices are applied in accordance with VTC Safety instructions. Report incidents or hazards which have led or may lead to injury Essential Qualifications/Experience Educated to HNC/HND/NVQ4 Level or equivalent in an appropriate subject Experience of IT network's Good knowledge and experience in the configuration and control of Cisco routers and switches Knowledge of: Windows 2000/2003 server, DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP Basic record of proven ability. No longer in a learning period. Full UK car driving licence. A comprehensive knowledge of safe working practices and safety procedures.
