| CAD Draught-person / Design Engineer Wiltshire: £20000 to £26000 + Contributory Pension + Life Assurance + Training and Development Design position on offer for engineers with 2D CAD experience who are looking to develop their design skills in a concept and re-modification role. Our client specialises in manufacturing process equipment that interconnects sheet metal based bulk handling and storage solutions. They offer 'turnkey' project managed solutions into a number of industries including agriculture and food. Due to company expansion, they are now looking to recruit an additional CAD designer. The role will involve working closely with the existing Project Managers within the company, to deliver a totally bespoke first class design service. This company forms a part of a financially strong group with an enviable reputation and position in the markets that it serves. With over 600 employees, a turnover that has doubled in the last 5 years and aggressive growth plans for the future; this is an exiting time to come on board the group. This role will suit engineers who take pride in producing manufacturing drawings in a team based environment. There will be opportunities in the medium term to move into project management. The Role: * Working in a small team designing manufacturing process equipment that interconnects sheet metal based bulk handling and storage solutions. * Will be using Auto CAD LT 2008 (2D) * Responsible for all drawing based documentation and support systems. * Communicate through to the Project Managers using specific criteria such as lead times, quality, accuracy and detailed information. The Candidate * Mechanical engineering design background. * Experience in 2D design (on any CAD package). * Knowledge of manufacturing process design and structural steel will be beneficial but not essential. | ||
