| Key Accountabilities Responsible for the delivery of Fleet Time Engineering projects. Ensure the Directorate complies with appropriate legislation including requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act. Provision of response support solutions direct to Fleet customer. Raising the standard of BM(C) performance related to Fleet Maintenance work packages. Developing an effective/efficient afloat workforce delivering benchmark standard performance in Naval repair sectors. Developing beneficial scope increases in Fleet time work packages. In conjunction with the Head of Fleet Planning, measure the performance of the Production operation and adopt best practice. Ensure the organisation is properly resourced to meet the output in the most effective manner within agreed objectives and targets. Lead and motivate the Production team to deliver the business's requirements. Developing innovative technological solutions in repair Afloat techniques. Education, Experience & Qualifications Essential Extensive experience operating at senior management level. Previous experience of managing large scale industrial workforce. Experience in programme management. Extensive experience in engineering environment Ideal Degree in Production Engineering or Operations Management Ability to develop and motivate technical solutions. Ability to drive and manage performance. Experience of Naval repair techniques. Member of appropriate Institute.
