| Key Accountabilities To assist in the maintenance and development of the HMNB Clyde Site Safety Case (SSC) and relevant Nuclear Site Safety Justification (NSSJ) documentation to ensure continued permissioned operation of Nuclear Powered Warship (NPW) at the designated Facilities within the Authorised Site. To assist in the programme and project management of the maintenance and development of the suite of NSSJ documentation. To manage and develop a system to monitor the Site Safety Justification Teams (SSJT) tasks, programme and deliverables. To monitor progress against set objectives and regularly report to relevant stakeholders To support Site Safety Justification Manager (SSJM) in the project and programme management of the Safety Justification department. To produce Work Breakdown and Resource Breakdown profiles for the department. To generate Project Initiation documents, analyse forecast and actual hours information. Contribute to financial planning of the department. Monitor progress against milestones and apply earned value techniques. To maintain the departmental project management plan including risk register. Education & Qualifications Essential Awareness of nuclear justification requirements and development of safety cases (NP1.5). Awareness of nuclear and radiological safety of SSBN/SSN operations on Authorised Site/ Licensed Site arrangements (NP1.1 and 1.2). NIC and NSSJC or prepared to complete within 6 months of taking up post. Familiar with Microsoft Project or Primevera P6 and Microsoft excel. Ideal A recognised professional engineering/science degree. Project management qualification at Project Engineer/Planner level. Experience of NSSJ documentation and HMNB Clyde Safety Management Arrangements (SMA) and the associated due process as detailed on the Clyde Management System (CMS) To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK Matchtech Group Plc is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. | ||
