| Key Accountabilities To be part of the team responsible for the continued management and development of the Nuclear Compliance Group (NCG) processes and procedures. To monitor current HMNB Clyde and industry Nuclear Safety standards to ensure NCG compliance and demonstrate continued improvement. To develop, progress and implement new procedures, processes and associated support documents in the area of Nuclear Safety Management Arrangements (SMAs) when required. To maintain and develop the current suite of HMNB Clyde Authorisation Condition Compliance Statements (ACCSs) and the associated shortfall register. To manage and implement changes to the HMNB Clyde Nuclear Datum Organisation via CMS. To present changes to extant Nuclear SMAs through base due process. To represent the Nuclear Compliance Process Engineer (NCPE) and NCG at HMNB Clyde forums and Working Groups (WGs). To support NCPE in the maintenance and development of fully compliant Nuclear SMAs across HMNB Clyde. Education & Qualifications Essential Knowledge of the Nuclear related safety documentation and associated due process currently used at HMNB Clyde. Can demonstrate an awareness level of competence in Nuclear Functional Competences 1.1 (nuclear safety management systems) and 1.6 (audit review and feedback). Completion of the Nuclear Introduction Course (NIC) or willingness to complete within 6 months of taking up post. A recognised audit qualification or equivalent experience or willingness to complete within 6 months of taking up post. Ideal Experience of maintaining and developing processes and procedures to a legislative standard.
