| Our client are a leading global supplier of mobile electronics and transportation systems, including powertrain, safety, steering, thermal, and controls & security systems and in-car entertainment technologies. To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK We are looking for time served craftsmen with experience in a mechanical discipline. The positions are within a major automotive manufacturer. You will be responsible for the start-up, re setting, running and shutdown of all machines in a manufacturing cell. As well as machine maintenance, we are looking for candidates who will be able to train operators within a cell and ensuring sign-off against training plans. Previous experience within this industry is not essential as full training will be given. Willingness to work as a part of a team is essential, and therefore must be a team player. We are interested in candidates in any mechanical discipline e.g. mechanical fitters, production maintenance, machine shop trades, welders etc. Main responsibilities - setting up of machinery, maintaining/liasing with external maintenance when required. Responsible for the training of machine operators Ensuring first line maintenance of all plant and machinery within a cell. Fortnightly 3 shift pattern. Nights 21.45-06.05 Sunday/Monday 22.00-06.05 Monday/Tuesday - Thursday/Friday Lates 14.00-22.05 Monday - Thursday 14.00-22.15 Friday Earlies 06-00-14.05 Monday - Friday * Plus one additional hour at the beginning or end of shift 2 (lates) and shift 3 (earlies) one per week.
