| We are currently seeking to recruit a CNC Setter/Operator to work at the Manufacturing Unit within the aerospace industry. To conduct the setting and operating of Myianio twin turret lathe with Fanuc controls. We are seeking a CNC Setter/Operator to working within the manufacturing dept of the seating department Successful candidates key responsibilities will be to: -Set tool and jigs/fixtures (check M/C set up). - Modify programs as required (offsets and parameters). - Program components at machine as required. - Download programs from waster file server. - Load raw material on machines and run programme. - Able to use micrometers, verniers and other inspection equipment to check work to drawing dimensions. - Maintain Machine Centre, to daily/weekly maintenance plan. You must also possess a good understanding of general machining practise's and be competent at reading and understanding engineering drawings and ideally apprentice served. Knowledge of CNC milling with Heidenhain and/or Mazatrol is also preferred however not essential. Rate includes shift enhancement.
