| Software Engineer / Controls Engineer / PLC Programmer. £30,000 - £40,000. Work on prestige production machinery controls systems in a broad project style role. Engineer innovative bespoke software solutions. Become better and grow your skills working on interesting and varied engineering challenges. Part of a £30 million+ group turnover, this 50-year-old growing engineering firm makes the world's best £1.5 million production machinery in its field. Your role will be broad, with responsibility to lead projects on new control systems. Working as part of a 6-engineer team, you will have a good mixture of support and assistance, but freedom and autonomy to run your own developments. The Role (will include;-) + Working on software for control system visual screens. + Working with SCADA (Wonderware Intouch) and PLCs (Siemens) + Working with clients, controls engineers, design engineers and service engineers. + Overseas travel 2 days a month. The Person (must have;-) + Worked with software with Control System (some form of Siemens experience.) + Worked with SCADA (Intouch Wonderware). + Good PLC programming skills.
