| RTR 3772 Manufacturing Engineer (Senior) Bristol £27000-£33000 + Flexitime + Pension + healthcare + Bonus Are you a Manufacturing Engineer looking for a challenging position within a market leader, working on a diverse range of bespoke high integrity solutions? This company will provide you with structured support and progression towards senior manufacturing or project based roles to ensure you are kept at the forefront of manufacturing procedures or project management. Due to company expansion they can accomodate two development paths, either manufacturing engineers wanting to progress to manufacturing management or looking to move in to project management roles. This global leading design and project management company provide engineering solutions for the defence and nuclear industries worldwide. The company has a complete capability from concept definition, assessment, design, manufacture and site installation through to in-service support. As a result of there continued success they are looking for experienced manufacturing engineers. As well as managing your own projects, you will work as part of a multi-disciplined team, reviewing and advising on the work of other technical staff. The Role *You will use your existing experience and knowledge to enhance and develop manufacturing processes for medium to heavy high integrity components. *You will co-ordinate activities on more complex assignments and handle the resolution of problems, drawing on practical experience or devising an innovative approach. *The senior engineer will work without detailed supervision when undertaking responsible engineering assignments. *You will be involved in the preperation of shop documentation and have the ability to prepare material cutting lists. Raising requisitions for the purchase of bought out items and materials. *You will interface with the production shops and suppliers to assist in the estimating and manufacturing procedures. The Candidate *Degree or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering with a strong understanding of machining, fabrication, assemby and turning. | ||
