| !!! Excellent opportunity for an experienced Naval Architect to work with one the worlds leading Offshore Oil & Gas contractors!! Our clients offshore activities arm has built a global reputation as one of the true innovators in its field. Due to ongoing expansion our client is looking for an experienced Naval Architect to work within its Design and Analysis department. The successful candidate will assist with naval architectural activities related to marine operations with the aim of learning the verification, feasibility and safety of installation operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for: - Performing analytical calculations and computer simulations to Assist with the achievement of the above objectives. - Confirmation of the positioning, stability and structural strength of the installation and transportation vessels for conducting the intended operations. - Assisting with studies into marine operations such as loadout, transportation, launch, mooring, dynamic positioning, lifting upending, docking, set-down and removal. You will need to have a Degree or equivalent in Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, or closely related engineering discipline and Knowledge of "MOSES" software would be an advantage.
