| The successful candidate for this position supports the department head by assurance of a legally conformant of all the company's responsibilities regarding customs duties, excise taxes, International trade as well as questions concerning country of origin according the preferential treaties of the EU. Within the framework of our succession planning, you have the opportunity to succeed the current department head of customs and International trade located in our plant in Kirchheimbolanden/ Germany. Desirable skills: KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES * Development of strategies and solutions in the areas of: customs and International trade; * Excise taxes (e.g. energy- or environmental taxes); * Country of origin according the international treaties of the EU. * Analysis, planning, optimization, implementation and monitoring of customs and excise tax procedures. * Consultation and training of internal and external business units within the framework of responsibilities. * Implementation of legal requirements into internal operational procedures under consideration of the business requirements. * Acting as deputy for the Manager Customs and International trade. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Graduate (Diplom-Finanzwirt) of the university of applied sciences Customs (FH Bund) or similar education - MUST Have Work experience within the Federal German Customs Service and/ preferable the automobile industry. User knowledge of IT processes ATLAS (import module ATLAS/ NCTS SAP R 3 and GTS 7.1), Good English language skills, verbally and in writing. | ||
