| Design Engineer - Bath - Contract - Ref607 My client involved in a very prestgious minign project is looking for a Design Engineer who is able to lead a team. You will have a broad Design engineering experience with · Design and specification of · stabilisation works · verification works · drainage works · construction trials · investigation works · Review of Contractor Method Statement regarding technical compliance with design objectives. · Co-ordination and preparation of design deliverables programme. · Preparation of Scopes of works · Preparation of Mine Condition Assessments · Preparation of the post works monitoring and maintenance plan. · Analysing infill quantities and providing forecast outturn infill quantities The broad role is to assist in the design function, exactly where will depend on the skill set. At the moment the ideal person for the short term would be someone with tunneling/mining experience able to design the structural components (shaft linings, portals). For a longer term placement, a broad-base skill set in mining/tunnels/civils is probably more relevant. | ||
