| COMMERCIAL MANAGER - HERTS - £55-60K + PACKAGE My Client is an award-winning urban regeneration specialist focused in London and the South East. Working in partnership with housing associations, local authorities and local residents they provides affordable social housing. With the recent creation of their private development arm they offer a unique one-stop shop in community regeneration. COMMERCIAL MANAGER - HERTS - £55-60K + PACKAGE The successful candidate will manage all commercial activities (Surveying and Purchasing) within a team environment. This will include all matters of client contract and associated cash-related issues as well as sub contract and suppliers. Liaise with other team managers. Main Duties include: "Overall management of the team; commercial responsibilities for multiple projects. "Manage the contractual obligation for projects and sub-contracts. "Production of reports for monitoring costs and cash flow. "Consider commercial strategy to deal with current and future workloads. "Identify resource needs within the team and propose solutions. "Day-to-day liaison with the Project Director and board of management. "Ensure that all staff in commercial functions provide an accurate and efficient service. "Produce monthly / quarterly financial reports. "Managing a team of staff (up to 12 No) Job Requirements: Person Specification "First class man-management skills. "Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. "Technical appreciation of all commercial functions. "Ability to deal with people at all levels. "Full Driving Licence is necessary. "CSCS card holder or able to obtain card. Experience "Experience within a commercial environment in a house building or construction business. Training/Education "Educated to at least HNC / Degree level in a related discipline. "Professional accreditation of either ACIOB or RICS desirable. "Good IT skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
