| A number of engineers are required for an international aerospace client due to the securing of new contracts. From an Automotive, Aerospace or similar background,you will have a knowledge of mechanical, electrical, thermal or fluid engineering design. The main objective of this role is to develop high reliability transducers for use in aerospace applications in order to meet customer requirements. Your role will be to: Develop innovative solutions for a range of transducers types, (specifically thermocouple and resistance thermometers) to meet customer requirements. To be responsible for all design processes through to fully approved products Support products throughout their lifecycle. To provide engineering support to the Marketing Department as required. Evaluate new product concepts. Understand customer requirements including build phase requirements Contribute towards the professional content and timely production of bid proposals. Liaise with other departments working with the project team. Arrange material/product test and validation Essential Experience and Qualifications Degree qualified or experienced design engineer with mechanical/electrical background A minimum of three years experience in electro-magnetic component design Aerospace or related industry experience and/or experience gained in Gas Burner or Boiler industries Metals and ceramic materials experience Designing products for harsh environments as well as stress and vibration Ability to work independently, prioritise workload, maintain clear and accurate records and provide concise engineering reports.
