| My client is a world leader in the water industry and currently have a requirement for a Project Manager within their company focusing on the leisure industry. KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS: -Manage contracts successfully, ensuring performance in accordance with specification and completion within agreed programmes. -Operation of company procedures/compliance with company QA procedures. -Quality leadership of staff to ensure maximum output. -Ensure good design and engineering practice at all times. -Undertake site visits and CAD work as required. Duties will include but not be limited to: 1. Management of reporting staff. 2. Input and control of all contract requirements including design and engineering CAD work, procurement, material movement, O & M manuals, financial control, and liaison with clients, consultants, architects and contractors. 3. Provide management reports on progress, costing, financial matters and any significant problems. 4. Review and accept contract budgets and, together with Accounts Department, prepare, issue and monitor regular cost forecasts and cash flows. 5. Approve all expenditures on contracts and ensure necessary approvals obtained in accordance with company/contract procedures. 6. Identify changes to contract scope and ensure financially viable returns are raised. 7. Maximise profits on contract. 8. Ensure contractual claims are submitted in accordance with the Conditions of Contract.
