| Our client a large design and build company are looking for an experienced Project Manger for the Hamilton area in Scotland on Various water projects. The client will accept contract or permanent candidates for the role. The ideal candidates will have the following: Qualifications / Education:Preferably B.Sc./B.Eng or equivalent, but non-graduates with relevant experience considered Experience / Knowledge:At least 5 years post graduation experience working in the engineering industry. Good track record of performing the Project Management/Client's representative role. Job Description: You will lead project teams engaged on contracts involving infrastructure and non-infrastructure engineering projects. You will provide a cohesive and central role engaging designers, contractors and suppliers and liaise with key stakeholders such as the client, developers, planners, Environmental Protection Agencies. You will be able to prepare tender documents, act as planning coordinator, under or perform role as client's representative on site. You will responsible for the completion and reporting of the projects, ensuring that they are completed to budget, time and quality. You will also be expected to assist the General Manager in the day to day operation of the department. Key Skills Ability to manage multi - disciplined teams and drive projects through. Confident in dealing with clients and other key stakeholders. Good communication and report writing skills. Flexible and willing to travel.
