Project Engineer / Manager

Location: Warwickshire

£32000-£40000 + Contributory Pension + Bonus + Flexitime

Do you have experience managing projects within a capital kit / bespoke environment?

You will be given full autonomy to manage a range of high profile projects delivering tailored, state of the art automated process to the automotive industry.

This global company employee over 6000 people and are constantly developing their product range to ensure their competitiveness in the worldwide marketplace. As an effect of increasing demand for their products, an additional Project Manager is needed to manage extra workloads and grant the level of service that is now take for granted.

You will be provided with the necessary support for you to be successful in this role providing you with the specialist product knowledge required. When managing your projects you are encouraged to make decisions to ensure successful delivery.

The Role:

* To progress manufacturing contracts from conception through to conclusion.
* To conduct all contract reviews of customer orders to ensure company compliance with the required specification.
* To instigate all necessary design requirements to comply with the customer specification.
* To generate all necessary documentation to ensure traceability at all levels is maintained.
* Eliminating all time delays and bottlenecks within the given areas to ensure specific lead time schedules are met in accordance with the customer delivery specifications.
* Generating all necessary documentation to be able to manufacture, sub-contract, purchase products and produce within the given lead times to satisfy customer specifications.
* To resolve all technical issues within the specified lead times and liaise with the necessary staff, both internal and external, to achieve this goal.
* Occasional travel across the UK and overseas.

The Person:

* Mechanical engineering background.
* Project management experience.
