| We have a opportunity for a Senior C&I Engineer with proven Front End design experience within a Petro / Offshore project Environment Basic Functions Review the client scopes of requirements produce design and equipment specifications, modification work to existing offshore platforms, technical liaison with vendors and suppliers & client technical authority, carry out offshore surveys, liaise with designers. Input to the development of graduate engineering personnel Principal Responsibilities Specification of Instrumentation, Control, ESD and F&G Systems, modification work to existing installations, field instruments, data sheets, instrument installation design, cause & effect diagrams, checking of design drawings and specifications, producing design packages, control system narratives and commissioning procedures Skills/Qualifications Technical / Business Skills: Understand Instrumentation and control system design principles, familiar with current instrumentation and controls design standards relating to the offshore oil and gas industry, SIL levels, IPF functions. Interpersonal Skills: Adaptable, good communicator, willing to react quickly to requirements Competencies: Proven Instrumentation and control engineering experience Educational Attainments: Relevant engineering Degree preferred or HNC/D with significant experience as an engineer within a design environment.
