| ||
| Mechanical Design Draughtsman capable of developing basic system design to detail design for production and installation utilising 2D/3D CAD packages. Software Used: Proficient in various 2D/3D CAD packages (e.g. Acad, Tribon, Navis works etc.) Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Responsibilities: Development of basic system design P&ID's to detail design in either a 2D or 3D environment iaw relevant specifications and design intent Development of 2D manufacture and installation drawings for use in a production environment iaw relevant specifications and design intent Liasing with Professional Engineers in the production of system development. Production of technical documents and reports On-site surveys in support of the development of detail system design. Production of material take-offs Task performance against budget and schedule and reporting progress to relevant leader/manager Key Attributes: Practical marine engineering system design experience Appreciation of shipyard system production and installation processes Ability to work effectively in a team Work off- site at clients premises, both in the UK and overseas Drive and commitment Good communication skills To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK Matchtech Group Plc is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy. | ||
