| We have an exciting opportunity to work with a multinational Oil & Gas company as a Tooldresser Objective Ensure that all equipment is received, inspected, redressed, stored and issued in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities * Redress, test and inspection of equipment whilst conforming to all safety and QA objectives * Participate in call-out rota duty according to operations requirements * Keeping workshop clean, tidy and presentable * Actively participate in QHS&E initiatives and programmes * Communicating with customers on delivery/shipment of their equipment * Communicate with Sales/Operations/Aberdeen ensuring that customer requirements/deadlines are met in a timely manner * Operation of torque/turn machine * Perform pressure testing * Dealing with Baker and external suppliers for the procurement of equipment * Liaison with 3rd party inspectors & customers * Accurate completion of documentation for stock conversions and movements * Ensure cost effectiveness by eliminating waste * Ensure work flows efficiently and deadlines are met * Departmental specific problem solving Skill Requirements * Good mechanical understanding with ability to read and understand tech units and drawings * Comprehensive knowledge of BOT tools and systems * Must be able to work on own initiative * Forklift certificate essential * Basic computer skills * Knowledge and skills in SAP would be advantageous * Ability to work as part of a small team within a busy environment Education/Training * HND or equivalent * Experience of working within a workshop environment * Thorough mechanical/technical background essential * Material handling course/seminar certificate preferred * Forklift driving certificate * Ability to safely and accurately operate torque turn machine * To actively participate in all base training initiatives.
