| We have an exciting opportunity to work in a global Oil & Gas company for a Mechanical Technician. Purpose To operate, and perform maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks on all Company and third party equipment as per company guidelines during project execution. This will range from diesel driven water pumps and hydraulic pumps, to the more specialised equipment such as water abrasive jet cutting machines and manipulators, friction welding equipment and all other company standard equipment as required. Key Responsibilities * When working on company premises report to and take direction from the Workshop Supervisor. * When working at other locations take direction from Supervising Technician. * To assist in the assembly, testing, preparation, servicing and operation of new and existing equipment. * Prepare Company and/or Third party equipment for mobilisation of project. * Ensuring all procedures and processes are carried out in accordance with the Company Safety Policy and Guidelines and the Project Operation Manual for the particular project. * When onshore to carry out maintenance and general yard duties as instructed. QHSE Responsibilities * Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment. * Adhere to all procedures and processes out in accordance with the Company Safety Policy and Quality Management System Additional Information The role will mainly be based in Aberdeen. But you will be required to go Offshore on an Ad-Hoc basis. Qualifications/Experience Essential * Time served mechanic. Desirable * From agricultural or heavy plant industries. * Candidates with diesel, hydraulic, UHP or HP pumping experience.
