| Position Quantity Surveyor Location London Salary £50k + Car(Allowance) + Benefits Company Fawkes & Reece Contact Adel Elsayed Job RM Reference VAC: AE35624 Job Type Permanent Job Description Quantity Surveyor The Client Our client is a well known interior fit-out and refurbishment company based in Surrey with a reputation for excellent service and for putting the needs of the client first. They are currently experiencing a period of rapid expansion and are in the process of securing projects throughout London and the South-East. Most of their projects cover the residential and commercial fit-out sectors and they undertake a mixture of high -specification and local authority fit-out works with project values ranging from £500k to £5m. The Role Our client is currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor for projects throughout the South east. The projects are to undertake a series of fit-outs to local authority premises such as town halls, job centres and other civic offices. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the running of the financial side of the projects and will be able to take the lead and effectively represent the company in a client facing role. The Quantity Surveyor duties will be to pay the sub-contractors, attend site meetings and liaise with the client and also carry out the technical aspects of the job such valuations, variations and contractual work. The Right Individual For this project the client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor, ideally with experience of similar projects. A background in refurbishment and fast track interior fit-out would be an advantage.. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be organized and self- motivated and have the ability to work to deadlines whilst retaining excellent standards of quality and service. A proven ability to see projects through to a successful completion is a must for applicants.
